I wold stick with a reputable brand for a gauge especially one where it measures the oil temp. Just stay away from the LED ones they tend to be expensive and have a short life span due to the heat. Oil temp is much more acurate than the water temp anyways.

Now if we can get a oil pressure gauge that would be golden.

Yeah I figured, a lot of the marketing for them from what I noticed where they saw how it's better than traditional lights are about how much longer they last

much cheaper in the long run too, MUCH cheaper. Seen a lot of graphs that show how cost effective it is, crazy

depends on the quality

small ones go easier because there is less heat sink


some fancy ones have built in heat sinks

led bulbs dont emit as much heat as halogen or incandescent

but they do produce heat. the heat just radiates from the actual led diode.
