Suede Paint - cleaning and maintaning

Talking care of a flat/matte/suede paint finish appears to require special care. You can't just apply a polish like you would to a regular glossy clear coated finish. Victory has a suede paint washer and suede paint protector (they didn't have any at my local Victory dealership), but I'm wondering is there any other special care required. Perhaps there's some third party products that can assist. Just want to see what other Gunner owners are doing to protect their suede paint.

While waiting for a rely from another owner, checking what automotive/motorcycle detailing forums have to say and suggest should provide some direction on how to go about this, and maybe even a way to keep it cleaner and make cleaning easier.

I use Zalo, that`s a Norwegian soap for cleaning disches. I use the one with citrus. Citrus wash is good for the Gunner paint.

Long story short. You want to avoid any kind of polishing action. That's terrible for matte finishes. A great option would be to spray and wipe clean with something non-abrasive such as simple green, or just use dish soap in water like Erik said.
