Just installed the RPW 3-inch slip-on stick.

The removal of the bottom original muffler was a pain, I had to soak it with WD40 and a lot of twisting. I think rust made the removal harder. Then the installation of the new bottom slip-on was also a pain.

Initially I thought it would really not fit but using the existing clamp helped in getting the muffler head smaller. The top slip-on fortunately was easier to remove and install.

Sounds great with the deep tone. Initially ride was a bit smokey with the WD40 burning through the ride but after an hour it was gone.

There was a different tone when it's in the lower rpm - below 2400rpm - in 1st to 4th gears. It sounds more like slapping cartons instead of the deep tone, although I'm not sure if it does really sound like that in lower rpm. I had to re-torque the clamps and hopefully that helps.

Got my Gunner about two weeks ago and had them put on the Stage one straight exhaust because I didn't like the stock pipes. Glad I did, the sound is incredible.. think you would say it sounds better than your Sportster.
