Blank threaded hole and missing paint

On my Gunner and the ones at two dealerships there is a threaded hole and missing paint behind the oil cooler. Looks like an accessory goes there or more likely the hole is used during the paint process for a slave tool. I've attached a photo. Just wondering if anyone can confirm my thoughts.

If it really is some slave hole for painting, they should have at least covered it up with some black rubber that goes in their.

Have you tried asking your dealer what it could be?

Talked to my dealer about it, he was unsure. Thought maybe it was for some European requirements/add-on. It does seem very amateurish for a top notch line like Victory. Perhaps it's a mount hole for a chin spoiler. In any case it's appearance should not be left as such.

It looks like it is a feature for anothe model. The lines are too clean just to be a hole for tooling. Lots of other ways to do that. Maybe someone who has another model can confirm what it is used for.

I just picked up my new Gunner today and noticed the same (fairly noticeable) thing you mention above... I will ask my dealer and see if what he says is in line with what you were told...

My dealer mentioned it may be a addition ground location for models, perhaps in other countries. That's why it isn't painted.

It should still be covered. It looks like a perfect spot to install a clamp for wiring.
