Rubbing sound or bearing noise, pulls to right
I made this post in response to an earlier post. But I'd like to know if others have had these issues too
I bought 2016 Gunner in July
Heard the rubbing sound or Bearing noise or however you describe it. I have had it since day one. Told dealer on 500 mile service. Said they heard nothing.
Had it in shop for headlight issue high beam flicker and All lights go out. That sucks when you are riding to work at night. Connector melted. Dealer said the fix was to replace the whole wiring harness, meaning removing swing arm. With no guarantee it wouldn't happen again. I said no. Find and replace the connector w/ ceramic connector iso plastic. They did, but I haven't gotten it back yet.
Now up to around 13 or 1400 miles. Before leaving shop after headlight fix, I discussed the pull to right issue. I told them it pulled to the right when you take your hands off the handle bars. It will put you in the ditch in about 5 secs. Left it for them to diagnose.
They called 3 days ago and said they could not find anything causing it to pull to the right. Took another new one off show room floor for a ride and it does the same thing.
Like Dude! WTF?!
Told them again about the noise. Said they would take it for another test ride and call me back. Still waiting to hear back. Don't know if they got to ride it before it started to rain. Been raining for 2 days now.
I do like the power. Strength and Speed. Awesome. Maneuvers great. Just keep your hands on the handle bars :-)
Need a small, "short" type of windshield. Nothing yet for this year scooter.
I expect a new bike to be **** near flawless. This is not even close. It's been in the shop more than under my ass.
