looking into buying a new gunner hopefully next month. I want to change the exhaust is it necessary to remap or can I just install the pipes? I didn't remap on my kawasaki with no problems. Thanks in advance

Bought my Vegas 8-BALL in 2009, had the black swept pipes installed before I left the dealer. They re-maped and said the original pipes could not be put back on, something about cutting the frame I think. The pipes look great and sound nice also, maybe a little to loud.

If anyone knows why the original pipes can't be put back on please lemme know. I will ask the Indianola Iowa dealer next time I am there.

You R gonna love the Gunner!

depends on what you want right. You could go straight pipes and it would be worthless because you're making no power in street applications. You can also explore a tune option, although most tunes are effective AFTER a mod..

that's true, then again there are those guys that just want to cruise and don't care too much about how much more power they can get.

Victory Stage 1 Exhausts upgrades come with a hi flow air filter and a new map that they download into your ecu.
