Victory Gunner Power to Weight Ratio

So the dichotomy has always been that highway cruisers were big and burly while city bikes needed to be diminutive and under powered for life in the city. Victory was aiming to change that with the Gunner, aiming to meld in town maneuverability with open road power. Lets see how they did...

Victory is listing the Gunner at 649 lbs dry weight, what happens when you couple that with 81 hp @ 4810 RPM and 69 lb-ft @ 2920 RPM (Victory Judge Dyno Figures)

You get an 8.012 lbs/HP power to weight ratio....

Now lets compare that to the REST of the Victor models

The Gunner is their lightest model from what I know.

Victory makes a solid bike. Couple of weeks ago I flew off an IA country road on Vegas 8-BALL... taking a 10 mph curve at 30+ mph. After the initial stupidity I straightened up and road it into the ditch. Got both wheels off the ground but landed upright. Nice soft but deep grassy ditch. After the landing I tipped over... no damage to the bike - 2 cracked ribs for me (Don't make me laugh).

AYYYEEEEE, all the best in recovery.

I mean the landing sounds better than if you laid her down/chucked her down the road, but dam man what are you doing flinging an 8 ball about like that...

glad to hear you're both ok... you being limited to cage duty for the time being?

No hosp. DR. just gave me a bear hug to see if everything was still lined up.

Slept in a recliner for a few nights, otherwise everything is mostly A-O.K.

That's the problem, I have been riding the ST1300 and failed to take the shallower lean angle of the Vegas into account.... that's my story and I am sticking to it!

No cage limits, I rode home and have ridden all but the first couple of days after the "Get-Off".

I realize my lack of attention could of hurt someone else, and that sobering thought has made me more careful.
